My name is Leeann Geswein. I graduated from Indiana University Southeast, and I am excited to start my sixth year of teaching. Second grade is a fun and exciting year! We become strong readers through our literacy centers and guided reading instruction. We use Writer's Workshop to become better writers and even publish a class book. We become skilled at math topics such as time, money, and double-digit addition and subtraction. We explore fun science concepts like Weather, Balance and Motion, and Plants and Insects. Most importantly we have lots of fun!
Outside of school, I live on my family's farm with my husband, our cat, and a lot of cows! In my free time I love reading, crafting, and Target!
